Students are learning about the growth and development of animals and discovering that different animals have different life cycles. They have chosen an animal or insect to research, design and create a video explaining its life cycle. They will be creating their videos using an iPad app called StopMotion. Ask your child which animal they chose to learn about their life cycle.

Today we started brainstorming about the 5 elements of a story to create our own storybooks:
- Setting
- Characters
- Problem or Conflict
- Plot: Beginning, Middle and End
- Conclusion or Resolution
We are using a graphic organizer and discussed with a partner to brainstorm and think about ideas for our stories.
