Math & Health | Sugar Quest
For the last couple of days, we have been learning how math can help us to make better health decisions about food and beverages. According to the World Health Organization, the maximum amount of sugar for children between 9 and 13 years old is 10.5 teaspoons (42 grams).
A single bottle of soda has on average 65 grams of sugar (around 16 teaspoons).
