Wednesday Checkpoint:
As we reach the middle of the week, students reflect in how well they are accomplishing their weekly learning tasks so far. Today we review our schedule and reflected on the following questions:
- Am I on track with my plan to finish my learning tasks fully, with quality in mind and on time?
- What obstacles do I need to overcome to finish my learning tasks?
- How will I feel in celebrating the completion of my learning tasks?
It is important for students to reflect and set their own personal goals daily in order to take responsibility of their own learning. Students that believe they have more unfinished learning tasks they can manage until the end of the week, were encouraged to take one or two things home today. Ask your child if she or he is on track or they need extra time.
