Book Club
Today we discussed about a new challenge for our classroom: we will start a book club.
All students will be reading a novel with a partner. Together they have to decide on a novel to read according to their reading readiness. Students also have the choice to read independently. Every week, they also will have the opportunity to choose a learning activity about their books, such as drawing the setting, sketching the main character or creating a comic about the favourite part of the book.
Reading Goals:
Improve our reading skills (fluency and reading out loud)!
Enjoy Reading and have fun!
Ask your child if they decided which book they will be reading and the name of their partner!
