Student Demographic Verification Form
Students are taking home today a form to be signed and returned to school. If have any updates, please just write on the designed spot and we change our files. If have any questions, please call our school office.
We want our students to get excited about reading. As they participate and are encouraged to choose their own books, they become more motivated and interested in reading. Students have access to Scholastic catalogues to order books and learning games. If you are interested, ask your child if they have a book catalogue. Please send your orders by September 26th.
You can also order online at http://www.scholastic.ca/parents/

Students' Online Portfolio
Seesaw is a student-driven digital portfolio that empowers students to independently document what they are learning at school. Weekly, students will share their learning with their parents. Seesaw is private. You’ll only see posts created by your child. We expect that families have more opportunity to follow up and support their children learning. This week we just started using this tool.
How to access your child's work?
From Your Computer
1. In a web browser, go to: https://app.seesaw.me/s/833-621-981
3. Create your account
4. Once you’re approved by me, you’ll get access to Seesaw
Ask your child if she/he was able to post some artifacts on Seesaw today!
Don't worry! We just started using and they will have lots of things to show!!!
We are starting our Science units of testing and building. We really appreciate if you can save bottle caps, toilet rolls, pipe-cleaners, strings, straws and other recycled materials that we can use to build different sorts of things in classroom.

We will be having our Annual Terry Fox Run on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at 2:00pm. Teachers will be discussing with students the life of Terry Fox and the contributions he has made to cancer research. We would like to extend the invitation to all parents and families to join us for the Terry Fox Run! Also, a reminder that our school Open House and BBQ are the same day, so you’re welcome to join all of the events!
Students can dedicate their run to someone who they know that has been affected by cancer. Please speak to your child prior to our run and if they choose to, they can write who they are running for on a sticker that they will wear during the run. These will be available in the classroom on Thursday.
Should you wish to make a donation online, please use the following link to donate through the Terry Fox website:
